Your contribution would help today’s youth reach their
potential, while providing you with a tax receipt for income tax
purposes. Donations must be received at the Council Office prior to
December 31st to receive a receipt for the current taxation year. Listed
below are some of the funds you can direct your donation to:
General
Funds – used in the areas
of programs, training, recognition and operations.
Membership
Assistance Funds
– used to help subsidize membership fees for less advantaged
youth and adults who cannot afford the costs associated with
Scouting.
Campership Assistance Funds – used to help subsidize the costs
of camping for less advantaged youth and adults who cannot afford
the costs associated with camping.
Uniform
Assistance Funds-
used to help subsidize the costs of uniforms for less advantaged
youth and adults who cannot afford the costs associated with
purchasing required uniform items.
Camp Upgrade Projects - used to help subsidize the costs of
renovating and upgrading our camp facilities to better serve the
needs of today’s youth.
Local
Scouting – used
to help support the operations of a local group who works closely
with youth from your own community.
